About

Amanda Jennings, MFT

The goal of therapy is for you to get to know yourself better. My job is to assist you in that goal.

When life’s struggles begin to take over your thinking and feeling process, you can lose touch with that intuitive part of you that knows the best actions and solutions for you.

Our work together will be focused on your individual needs and goals; and will be highly collaborative.

My own life journey has taken me though various “bumps in the road”, so I am keenly aware of the painful feelings that can bring an individual to seek help from a therapist.

I specialize in helping women cope with the many demands and responsibilities inherent in our daily lives; things such as parenting, body image/food issues, relationship problems and the striving for perfection that is so prevelant in today’s society.

I invite you to give me a call or send me an email to set up an initial appointment or get more information. I look forward to working with you to get the most and best that life has to offer.

In addition to working with clients at my private practice, I facilitate a free eating disorders information group on Saturday mornings at La Ventana Eating Disorders Programs in Thousand Oaks. For more information about that group, contact me my phone or email.
