The Right Path

It’s about you, not me.

Deciding to seek therapy is not always easy; some might consider it a last resort after trying everything else. You might say, “OK, maybe I’ll try therapy.”

Every person has a unique story. As your therapist, I will let you tell me your story the way you want while taking as much time as you need.

When you come to see me, my first goals are to find out what brings you to seek therapy and what changes you would like to make. During this process, I will be there to listen, never judge, and hear what you need. You will receive respect for the courage it takes to show up for yourself.

When you get into the details, you realize you are the expert about yourself no matter how stressful. Sometimes, you know the answer, but you need someone to help you decipher and explore – this is where I can help.

Find the unknown right path.

Alternatively, you may not understand what the answer is, so you want to talk about everything. We can do that, too.

It’s interesting to notice that some behaviors are reactions to experiences or relationships. Our past makes us into the person we are today. Sometimes, that may mean we don’t like some parts of ourselves.

I’m here to find out more about you. And shine a light on certain things that you may think or feel that have you going in the wrong direction.

My job is to help you find the right path for you in the future. Perhaps, you are not getting to where you want to be or that life is slipping away. Maybe you have an unwanted behavior. Whatever is the underlying cause, I can help you understand what is drawing you to a place you do not want to be.

Therapy makes a difference.

Talking about thoughts and feelings without judgment or shame is liberating. You may wonder what took you so long to try therapy.

Therapy is not the last resort but the beginning of a new life. Working in a safe place where someone listens and hears what you are saying is validating and healing.

It doesn’t matter whether you know the problem or are trying to identify the problem. Therapy makes a difference, and I love to see change take place in people’s lives.

Let’s solve these issues together.
